What Makes a Good Candidate

What makes a good candidate? to answer this question may be hard but to make it a bit easier for all of us, I think a candidate should have specific plans for the country. A candidate must be aware of what is going on around him/her. He/she must have a stand on the important issues of our country.

It’s very easy to be a political candidate. If you have the money for campaigns, are of the legal age and have lived in the country for a specified number of years, filing for candidacy won’t be much of a problem for anyone. A lot of people want to lead the country. Many of us want to serve our people. To some, service means running for office. With all the political candidates for the 2010 elections, how would you choose the person you want to lead our country or your district? Well, for starters, I would definitely NOT choose a candidate like this:

I was chatting with a friend last night. I mentioned that I am now staying away from meat and eating tofu to compensate for the lack of protein that I can only get from meat products. I was surprised when she bluntly said ” You are so gay”. Say what?
