After months of waiting for his decision, Chiz finally made up his mind. [full story here] He is not running for president or for any position in the 2010 elections.

Chiz, being Chiz, did not go into details of why he isn’t running. I wish I can accept the things he said:

Not at the cost of losing my soul. Not at the cost of losing myself. Not at the cost of being eaten up by the system and the process and certainly not at the cost of not being able to do the things that I want and set out to do.

He may have given his final decision but he still left his supporters wondering why he isn’t running anymore; why he suddenly changed his mind. He remained vague and (if I may say) poetic in his speech. His love for words and eloquent prose is annoying sometimes. I mean, people, his supporters especially, would want to know the real deal. How can they continue supporting somebody who only gives them vague speeches? Can’t he be more direct in his words? There’s really no point in making the people interpret his message when he could just say things straight.

Direct questions Chiz, need direct answers.

Escudero said he hasn’t decided on who to support in the 2010 elections. Well, this sure looked like He has decided to support Noynoy:

I cannot deny that my friendship with Noynoy was factored in in the decision that I made. If it seems that the times call for him, it is not for a real friend to grab or share that with him. Let us let other people do that but I won’t as a friend

Maybe it was right that he decided not to run in 2010. I think he has yet  to learn  how to get to the point without the use of too much words. Besides, fickle mindedness is a turn off.
